Community Division

Balllet Pensacola's Community Division classes are geared for the more casual dancer and are offered for the purposes of recreation and exercise. Whether you want to return to the studio, rekindling your passion for dance, or you want to take that first step, Ballet Pensacola’s Community Division has something to offer.

Community Division classes include instruction in Intermediate Ballet, Tap Dance and Broadway Dance Machine.

Intermediate Ballet- For anyone ages 9+ that has a desire to learn ballet but has no previous ballet experience.

Tap Dance-Three courses are offered for different skills levels. Dancers will be placed in the appropriate class after a short evaluation.

Broadway Dance Machine- Theatre style dancing taught by age groups, as listed in the schedule below.

Class Attire

Ballet Pensacola requires a clean, uniformed appearance for all students to facilitate learning and provide a focused environment. Dancers are encouraged to wear street clothing and shoes over their class attire when coming to and from class to ensure modesty and keep their muscles warm.
